The unofficial capital of Druze food, Daliat el-Karmel’s main street along the market offers several good quality eastern Mediterranean cuisine. Yet one place stands above them all. At Andarin, in the middle of the market, they start with many small salads, but they are followed by a excellent plates of Tabula and cheese salads, thehini over a barbecued egg plant, and mushrooms in cheese. And then they serve the meat… And when you think you can’t any more, a DIVINE knafe appears with small cups of coffee.. and all for very reasonable prices!! This is too good to be true…
